I grew in Zimbabwe and moved to the UK as a teenager. My home is now in Warwickshire where many of my stories are set. I spent nearly three decades teaching in primary school and occasionally writing academic articles and short pieces for educational magazines.
I love fiction with relatable characters, set in the real world but with a touch of the supernatural.
I paint and draw – portraits and landscapes in watercolour or oil, and have done the illustrations for my books and video games.
I am also a gigging musician on saxophone, bass guitar and double bass.
Animals are the best. I live with a rescue boxer dog, ‘Blue’.
